Bikes for Tykes Inc. is an all volunteer organization started in 2001. Since then we have repaired and delivered
about 15,000 bicycles to children and adults in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and in Mexico, Honduras, and Ghana.

Our Staff
Here is a list of names of some of the people who run our organization. Alan Arabian is President and
a full time volunteer Pete Cox is Vice President and is a full time volunteer Lewis Campbell is a Board
Member and part time volunteer Andy Sadowski, Bill Carlisle and Scott McCaskey are Officers/Board Members and
part time volunteers Barry Millwood recently deceased, Bless his heart, is a former part time volunteer and
sorely missed. Many members of the Fort Worth Bicycling Association are part time volunteers, especially at crunch
time. :

Our Programs
Our on-going programs include: Annual Cowboy Santas. A Fort Worth Police and Parks Dept Program. Fort
Worth Independent School District. Community Work Experience Program. Arlington Independent School District, Short
Elementary School, 2nd Grade "Mini-mart" program. Arlington Kiwanis BUGS program (bringing up grades) at
Short Elementary School Arlington Arlington Independent School District, Lamar Hi School, Student Council Christmas
Program
Through the five years, we have received strong support from Arlington's Noon Kiwanis Club, Bicycles Incorporated, Richardson
Bike Mart. the Fort Worth Bicycing Association and Lone Star Cyclists. Other bicycle shops; Fort Worth Cycling
and Fitness Ctr., Debo's Cycle Sports, Grapevine Bike Ctr. and Colonel's have also contributed to our program.
How can you help? I'm glad you asked...
Bikes for Tykes is always looking for bikes, people to help with repairing them and of course money, we
figure it takes about $15.00 average to make the bikes ready to donate.
